Welcome to the Department of Modern Regional History at the University of Tübingen. Its members research questions of regional history in their international and global connections from the 18th to the 20th century. Research topics range from the history of the nobility and consumption to economic and stock market history. One focus is on southwest Germany, but other regions feature as well.
