‘’While I was studying to become a teacher of Spanish, French and art history, I was already interested in topics relating to the cultures of the Global South. I also wrote my final teaching dissertation in this area and was able to have it recognised as my Master's thesis. The opportunity to take in-depth and advanced courses from CGS as part of Lehramt+ was a great opportunity for me to further my personal development and gave me many enriching insights, inspired me to reflect and sensitised me to postcolonial challenges. I now live in Madrid and work in the theatre. Many of the topics covered during my studies continue to accompany me in my private and professional life, so I am grateful for the knowledge I acquired during my Master's degree - it helps me to read and categorise conflicts, problems and relationships in a historical-global context.’
