Danilo Penagos Jaramillo is a Hispanic Philologist (Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia) and Master in Literary Studies (Universidad de Alicante, Spain). He works as a researcher in the group Colombia: Tradiciones de la Palabra at the University of Antioquia and is part of the Exploratorio de Humanidades Digitales at the same university, where he coordinates a study gruop in Digital Humanities research. His interests include the histories of books and publishing, digital publishing, computational analysis of texts, the development of digital infrastructures for literary research, and digital culture studies. He is co-author of the book Edición de literatura en Colombia, 1944-2016: setenta años de Ediciones Espiral, Tercer Mundo Editores y Norma (2023).
Currently, in the project "Digitization and Analysis of Cultural Transfers in Colombian Literary Magazines (1892-1950)", he is in charge of managing the digitization process of the literary magazines and data modeling for computational analysis.
