• 2011-2018: Professor for Romanic Literatures (Iberoromania) at the University of Augsburg and director of the Institute for the Studies of Spain, Portugal and Latin America (ISLA).
• 2002-2011: Associate Professor for French and Spanish Literatures at the Department of Romanic Philology, University of Heidelberg.
