Lisa Koeritz

Co-laborative research and innovation

Lisa Koeritz joined the IZEW as a research associate in 2024. She holds an M.Sc. in Data Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam and has worked as a data scientist in industry and in the policy field. Her research interests lie in the areas of Responsible AI, particularly in the context of ethical and societal implications, as well as data quality for machine learning systems. She focuses on the challenge of anchoring ethical principles in the technical development of AI, including the development of Responsible AI tools and the research on terminology as well as frameworks for the responsible implementation of AI.
