Tübingen Center for Digital Education

Transfer Activities at TüCeDE

At TüCeDE, we understand transfer as a dialogical, multidirectional, and multi-layered process between research, educational practice, and society. For us, transfer moves beyond the mere dissemination of findings. We design co-constructive development processes together with schools, extracurricular partners, and educational administrators. Our activities include workshops, professional development programs, digital tools, publications, and consulting formats, as well as long-term strategic partnerships.

At the same time, the transfer itself is a subject of our research. We systematically examine how innovations emerge, how they are received, and under which conditions they can be implemented effectively and sustainably. In this way, we aim to integrate scientific inquiry, practical application, and reflective refinement into a coherent and mutually enriching approach.

Consortium of School Partnerships

At the Tübingen campus, numerous university and non-university partners in the field of education collaborate with schools through school partnerships. The School Partnerships Consortium coordinates these partnerships and knowledge transfer projects between academic and school partners.

Events

In close collaboration with our partner institutions, we organize a diverse range of events tailored to various target groups. For researchers, we create dedicated spaces in Tübingen for exchange and the development of synergies. In addition, we organize international networking events that foster professional dialogue across different sites and disciplines.

We also place particular emphasis on close collaboration with the professional field: In cooperation with partners such as the Center for School Quality and Teacher Education Baden-Württemberg (ZSL) and the Institute for Educational Analyses Baden‑Württemberg (ibbw), as well as with multipliers and teachers in schools, we develop practical formats that strengthen the mutual exchange between research and school practice.

Upcoming Events

TüCeDE regularly hosts events for educators, researchers, and anyone interested in our topics – you’re more than welcome to join us!

We cordially invite you to the AI Symposium in collaboration with the ZSL RST Tübingen on June 10, 2026.

For the one-hour “Market of Opportunities” now a firmly established part of the program, we are once again looking for projects that are interesting and relevant to the current topics of the AI Symposium and can be presented using posters and/or demos.

This year’s thematic focuses are:

  • Promoting basic skills through the use of AI
  • AI applications in adaptive learning systems
  • AI use and potential impacts on health, particularly among adolescents

Interested? Then send an email by April 30, 2026, with a brief project description, the (provisional) title of the poster or demo, and any technical requirements (display board, table, power outlet, etc.) to anneke.schmidtspam prevention@uni-tuebingen.de.
