Each student paper accepted for publication at KogWis 2014 will be eligible for the CSS Best Student Paper Award, sponsored by the Cognitive Science Society.

Award: 250$ + 1 year free membership in the CSS society.

Title: "Analyzing psychological theories with F-ACT-R: an example F-ACT-R application"

Der GK Best Paper Award wird für die beste kognitionswissenschaftliche Veröffentlichung von NachwuchswissenschaftlerInnen vergeben, deren Promotion nicht länger als drei Jahre zurückliegt bzw. noch nicht abgeschlossen ist. Eingereicht werden können Arbeiten, die seit Mai 2012 in Zeitschriften mit Peer-Review erschienen sind oder auf vergleichbar hochwertigen Konferenzen veröffentlicht bzw. akzeptiert wurden.

Bewerbungen sollte bis zum 1. Juni 2014 per Email an den Vorsitzenden der GK (vs1@gk-ev.de) geschickt werden.

Die Bewerbung sollte aus einem PDF Dokument bestehen, das

• die Arbeit selbst,
• die Publikationsdaten bzw. die Akzeptanzbestätigung der Zeitschrift/Konferenz und
• einen Lebenslauf inkl. Publikationsverzeichnis

enthält.

Die Preisträgerin oder der Preisträger wird auf der KogWis2014 prämiert und hat dort auch Gelegenheit, die Arbeit in einem Vortrag zu präsentieren.

Title: "Functional connectivity network in idiopathic generalized epilepsy"

The GK society sponsors four student travel grants for student members of the GK to attend KogWis. Students need to be or become a member of the GK to be eligible. The travel to KogWis 2014 will be supported by an amount of 250€.

Selection Criteria are: involvement at the conference (paper or poster contribution) & application date.
