Academic Profile

Since September 2024, I am a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Ludwig-Uhland-Institute. My doctoral research focuses on reproductive dependencies and solidarities in the context of surrogacy and German intended parents. In addition to my research and teaching activities, I am the departmental coordinator for international studies and exchange programs at the Ludwig-Uhland-Institute.

2021-2024: Master's degree in Historical and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Tübingen with a specialisation in diversity. Topic of Master's thesis: Approaches to gender-sensitive child rearing
2018-2021: Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Education at the University of Education in Ludwigsburg. Topic of Bachelor's thesis: History and controversies surrounding the Dutch St Nicholas tradition
