Research interest
Prehistory:
- Neanderthal and early modern human population dynamics during the Middle and Late Pleistocene in Eurasia and Africa.
- Chronology of the Middle Palaeolithic and the transition towards the Upper Palaeolithic in Europe and in the Levant.
Quaternary geochronology:
- Uranium-series (230Th/U) of dental tissues and speleothems.
- Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) of tooth enamel.
- Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL, TT-OSL) of quartz and Infrared Stimulated Luminescence (IRSL) of feldspar.
