Students with Credits from Previous Studies in the Subject English

Students with credits from previous studies in the subject English may enrol in the second or in a higher semester in the B.Ed. English after assessment of the eligibility of their previous studies. In this special case, admission to the B.Ed. English is not restricted and prospective students can commence their studies both in the winter and in the summer term.

Current Students of Other Universities

"Studienortwechsel"

Students in a study programme at an English Department of another university with credits from their previous study in English (for example, in a Bachelor of Education in English or in a Bachelor of Arts in English and/ or American Studies) who want to change their programme to our Bachelor of Education English should
contact the special advisors for the B.Ed. English. As the process of credit recognition before the enrolment requires feedback from several student advisors and therefore takes some time, it is highly advisable to contact both the Tübingen Student Administration Office for information about necessary forms and the special advisors of the B.Ed. English in due time before the enrolment deadlines (for the winter term September 30; for the summer term March 31). The Student Administration Office offers a detailed overview of the enrolment process. You may also consult the guidelines provided in the Downloads section of this page.

Students from other universities without credits in English need to apply for admission. Details about the requirements and admission criteria can be found in our section on the process of application.
