Co-director Andreas Lachner ranked among most productive researchers in educational psychology
A new study has mapped the most productive researchers in educational psychology worldwide — and one city kept coming up: Tübingen.
Kubik et al. (2026) analyzed nearly 7,200 articles published in six top-tier educational psychology journals between 2017 and 2022.
When identifying which institutions host the most researchers among the top 50 most productive authors, the University of Tübingen ranked first.
At the Tübingen Center for Digital Education (TüCeDE), we are proud to be part of this vibrant research ecosystem. We are especially pleased to see our co-director Andreas Lachner among the researchers featured in the ranking, alongside many other colleagues from Tübingen.
It is exciting to see the global visibility and impact of educational psychology research emerging from Tübingen.
