The seminar is offered to tutor the students during the writing of their Bachelor thesis. During the seminar the students will have a chance to present their findings. At present, the chair of economic history carries out research on the evolution of living standards and human capital accumulation in the long run. The seminar is aimed at all students who attend a bachelor's degree programme and are interested in the activities carried out at the chair of economic history.

Objectives

By writing their thesis, students will be able to gather, analyze and apply information from various sources from modern and international Economic History literature to formulate convincing arguments, communicate academic ideas, produce conclusions and acquire academic writing skills. Additionally, they use quantitative modells to explain the topic by their own.
