My research focuses on long-run economic development in Asia, exploring how human capital, gender inequality, and living standards evolved over time within Asia and in comparison with the rest of the world.
My teaching helps students learn how to use Stata and apply econometric methods to analyze historcial data and explore questions in economics and economic history.
