The research area Geo- and Environmental Sciences comprises the work groups in the classical geoscientific disciplines and in environmental sciences.
The professorships bear the main responsibility for the study programs in Geosciences (BSc and MSc), Umweltnaturwissenschaften (BSc) and Applied and Environmental Geoscience (MSc), and decisively participate in the study programs of Geoecology (BSc and MSc).
