Project description:

The subproject Further Education for Teachers of the Tübingen School of Education develops and evaluates professional development courses/opportunities for teachers in the areas Media Education and Heterogenity, Diversity, Inclusion due to existing needs and scientific standards. Therefore the state of research in respective areas will be assessed and the current landscape of further education for teachers will be reviewed. Furthermore it is planned to interview central stakeholders in the field of teacher training and to conduct a survey about the learning needs of teachers. The training offers will address teachers who are going to act as experts in their schools in relation to the content of the training and thus they can function as multiplicators.

The project is associated with the Department of Adult Education/Further Education of Tübingen University. On the long run, the project aims at establishing a sustainable further education for teachers structure at Tübingen University.
