The Institute for Political Science offers a learning and research environment that, in addition to the classical political canon (government systems and political theory), has a strong focus on comparative political science and international relations.  The institute currently offers courses and engages in research focused on the Middle East, peace and conflict research, international institutions, foreign policy and comparative foreign policy analysis, and European integration as well as political sociology and culture and comparative public policy research.
