At IANES you can study the subjects Egyptology, Assyriology, and Near Eastern Archeology as a B.A. (as a major or minor) or choose an M.A. Currently, none of these are subject to admission restriction. The standard period of study for the B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) is 3 years and for the M.A. (Master of Arts) 2 years.
Possibilities for subject combinations in the B.A. are varied. For example, related archeological or philological subjects, history, linguistics, or art history as well as languages, history, and cultures of the (modern) Near East. A combination of the subjects Egyptology, Assyriology, and Near Eastern Archeology represented at IANES is particularly recommended.
