Pre-internship Course

Depending on the programme, the study of Protestant Theology includes a four-week internship. Accompanied by a preparatory course and a one-day evaluation, the entire internship module aims to closely link theory and practice. Detailed information on the various internship options, the objectives of the internship and its organisation can be found here:

Tübinger Praktikum

In Winter Term 2025/2026, there will be a course on “Sacred objects in daily pastoral routine” with Astrid Edel.

Colloquia

Each semester, our colloquium takes place in two formats. One is a fortnightly evening gathering (Thursday, 8 to 10 p.m.). The other is an intensive weekend seminar. Students are warmly invited to join as well. Besides the presentation of current research projects, we always address one specific topic currently relevant to practical theology and religion-related empirical research. The topics for both formats can be found in the course catalogue.

The next weekend seminar will focus on emotions. It will take place on 23/24 January 2026.
