Our research focuses on the development of new catalytic transformations for organic synthesis. The main topics are reactions involving cleavage and construction of C–S bonds, but we also look into reactivity of small rings and defunctionalizations. The overall aim is to employ nonprecious metal-based homogeneous catalysts. More recently, we became interested in molecular solar thermal systems, in particular in the catalyst-triggered energy release.
