Course: Rechnungslegung von Finanzinstrumenten

Prof. Dr Mathias Schaber is a partner and auditor at EY GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Stuttgart, in the Policy Department for Auditing/Corporate Reporting Desk. His main areas of expertise are banking accounting and banking supervision. He also participates in specialist work in various working groups at the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW) and is the author and editor of numerous  specialist publications.

Before joining EY, Mathias Schaber studied business administration at the Universities of Bayreuth and Tübingen and then continued his university education as a research assistant at the Chair of Banking at the University of Tübingen (PhD in 2000). He remains associated with the Department of Economics, first as a lecturer and, since 2016, as an honorary professor.
