Event: PrInt Day 2022 - USP

The University of Tübingen will take part in the information event "PrInt Day 2022", on 23 November 2022, organized and hosted by the University of São Paulo – USP.
A session on “Funding agencies and international cooperation” will be part of the event, where partner universities will have the opportunity to present themselves. For some universities from abroad, USP will enable online (live) presentations, as a space for interaction with the audience. The idea is to offer an opportunity for partner universities to introduce their internationalization policies and interests as well as their cooperation projects and programs. The event will be recorded, and all sections will be available after the event on USP's YouTube channel (https://bit.ly/youtube-PróReitoriadePósGraduaçãoUSP).
The University of Tübingen, a partner of USP for almost 15 years (since 2008), will be represented by Dr. Iryna Shalaginova, Research Officer, International Research Cooperations, University of Tübingen. Iryna Shalaginova will give her presentation online at 14h45 (BRT).

CAPES-PrInt at USP
In 2018, the Department for International Relations, of the Federal Brazilian Funding Agency CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) launched the PrInt Program. PrInt is a program for the improvement of higher education which aims at promoting internationalization strategies within Brazilian universities. From 2019 on, CAPES has been providing funds to selected higher education institutions to allow for international exchange that boosts internationalization projects, products and strategy. USP accepted the challenge and starting from internal discussions, presented a proposal based on five highly ranked clusters:1 – Translational Plant and Animal Sciences (TPAS), 2 – Health and Diseases (HAD) 3 – Earth and Space (EAS), 4 – Arts and Humanities (AAH) and 5 – Technology (TEC), that was fully approved by CAPES. At USP, PrInt is coordinated by the Graduate Studies Office.

A Universidade de Tübingen participa do evento informativo “PrInt Day 2022”, que acontece no próximo dia 23 de novembro de 2022, em São Paulo, organizado pela Universidade de São Paulo - USP.
Na ocasião, será colocado em pauta o tema “Funding agencies and international cooperation”. Universidades parceiras terão a oportunidade de se apresentar e, para algumas universidades estrangeiras, a USP possibilitará apresentações on-line (ao vivo), como um espaço de interação com público. A ideia é oferecer uma oportunidade para que essas possam apresentar suas políticas de internacionalização, assim como seus projetos e programas de cooperação. O evento será gravado, e todas as secções estarão disponíveis posteriormente no canal YouTube da USP (https://bit.ly/youtube-PróReitoriadePósGraduaçãoUSP).

CAPES-PrInt na USP
Em 2018, a CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior) lançou o Programa PrInt, uma iniciativa para o aperfeiçoamento do ensino superior, que visa promover estratégias de internacionalização dentro das universidades brasileiras. Desde 2019, a CAPES garante fundos a instituições de ensino superior selecionadas para permitir o intercâmbio internacional que impulsione projetos, produtos e estratégias de internacionalização. A USP aceitou o desafio e a partir de discussões internas, apresentou uma proposta baseada em cinco clusters altamente qualificados: 1 - Ciências Translacionais Vegetal e Animal (TPAS), 2 - Saúde e Doenças (HAD), 3 - Terra e Espaço (EAS), 4 - Artes e Humanidades (AAH), e 5 - Tecnologia (TEC), que foi integralmente aprovada pela CAPES. Na USP, o Programa PrInt é coordenada pelo Escritório de Pós-Graduação.
