Annotation tools enhance the professional awareness of pre-service teachers

How can the professional awareness of trainee teachers be enhanced? In two studies, Franziska Gazar, Tim Fütterer, Ulrike Franke, Kathleen Stürmer, Rossella Santagata and Andreas Lachner demonstrate that annotation tools improve the perception of relevant classroom events, whilst video modelling examples further strengthen knowledge-based reflection. The study was published in Learning and Instruction.
