Teaching at TüCeDE

At TüCeDE, we shape teaching in the field of digital education with a clear focus on learning with and about digital technologies.  

In our courses, we place particular emphasis on teaching research-based fundamentals, close practical transfer and direct hands-on experience with the use of digital technologies in the classroom. In this way, we combine scientific foundations with practical implementation and prepare students specifically for the digital requirements and transformation processes of modern schools. 

Where possible, our teaching takes place at the Tübingen Digital Teaching Lab (TüDiLab), www.tuedilab-tuebingen.de) – a collaborative project with the Leibniz Institut für Wissensmedien Tübingen (IWM) and the Tübingen School of Education (TüSE). The TüDiLab is a fully equipped classroom with laptops, tablets, smartboards and document cameras, among other things. In addition, future-oriented technologies such as VR or AR glasses can also be tested there. We also cooperate with the AI Makerspace Tübingen, an extracurricular learning centre, for our courses.
