Forschung

Forschungsschwerpunkte

My research has been focused so far on Roman Egypt (land property in Early Imperial period) and late antique legislation. My current project concerns the 6th century manuscript so called “Littera Florentina” (Digest) and material clues to the layout of its model manuscript and the first stage of the editorial and transmission process. I have been working on unpublished material (papyri and tituli picti) from the German-Polish archeological campaigns in Asyut (ancient Lykopolis).
