University of Tübingen and American University Cairo will launch joint degree (CMEPS)

The Master of Arts in comparative and Middle East politics and society (CMEPS), a joint program offered by the University of Tübingen and the American University in Cairo, marks the first official joint degree at the university and the first master’s degree in political science to be accredited in Germany, Egypt and the United States –– a distinct offering of its kind. To mark the signing of the joint degree programme, a delegation from the University of Tübingen led by Prof. Dr. Monique Scheer, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Diversity, travelled to Cairo. The joint degree program will start to take applications in March 2024 for a start in October 2024.
