S314 Computational Econometrics Using Stata
Details
Course Format | The course will be given online. The lecture videos will be provided asynchronously via Ilias. This allows you to prepare the material at your own speed. Beyond that, there will be a synchronous meeting via Zoom in which we will discuss the exercise sheets, the lecture material, and any other question you might have related to the material. These sessions are planned to be of a "Ask me Anything" type, so it is definitely recommended to work on the exercises and revise the lecture material before you join the session (but you will in any case benefit from these sessions). !!! UPDATE REGARDING THE KICK-OFF SESSION !!! We will talk about these sessions in the kick-off session on October 19, 2021, 6pm (participants will receive a Zoom link). The usual Zoom sessions will take on Wednesdays from 10am-11am (as indicated in alma). Please note that you need to apply for this course (see below).
To work on the exercise sheets and to revise the material, you need Stata. You have the possibility to download Stata onto your private PC and work on the exercises from home (click here for further information). In case you have trouble downloading/installing Stata, or in case you have any other questions, please send a mail to marian.ruemmele. @uni-tuebingen.de | |
