The main focus of my interdisciplinary research is the application of mathematical methods to a broad range of psychological topics. Those include among others belief polarization, peoples’ understanding of climate change and the understanding of non-linear processes. Those questions are tackled by applying a variety of methods like cognitive modeling, agent-based modeling and mathematical optimization methods.
