Seminars
The Plant Ecology group actively participates in a number of seminar series throughout semester time.
Seminar in Plant Ecology
The Plant Ecology Seminar Series, brings together both the Plant Ecology group (Tielbörger) and the Plant Evolutionary Ecology Group (Bossdorf). It takes place on Fridays throughout semester time, and offers the opportunity for under-graduates, post-graduate students, and post-docs alike to present their experimental design ideas and results in a friendly setting. Please contact Sara Tomiolo if you want to present.
EvE Seminar
In the Evolution and Ecology Seminar Series, selected speakers from Tübingen or elsewhere, including top-scientists from abroad, are invited to give an overview of their latest research. Seminar speakers are usually available for a personal scientific discussion before or after the talks via an appointment made with the host. Please contact Madalin Parepa if you want to give a talk or invite someone for the EvE Seminar. The EvE Seminar takes place most weeks during term on Tuesdays from 12:00- 13:00hrs in room N1, E-Bau, Auf der Morgenstelle 28. Or follow us on Twitter via @EvE_seminars
Hilgendorf Lecture
The Hilgendorf Lecture Series aims at promoting evolutionary thinking across our university and across disciplines outside the natural sciences. Internationally renowned scientists present overviews of their latest work. The lecture is also open to the public. These lectures take place 3 or 4 times during semester on Monday evenings.
