Research is at the forefront of the institute's work, as we view research and teaching in tandem and not as two separate entities. In the recent past we have acquired man third party funds, not just from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), but also from other trusts and foundations.
Our institute is also focused on cooperation, together with other departments at the University of Tübingen, and also with other partners throughout Germany and abroad.
