New working areas / furniture

More flexible and varied workstations in 4 areas

We have invested in more flexible and varied workstations in 4 sections of the library:

  • In the group working space on the lower floor, numerous new tables and chairs with castors have been purchased for more adaptable group working scenarios, as well as alcoves for working in pairs and a movable whiteboard.
  • On the lower floor, on the window side opposite the info desk, there are now workbays with a little more privacy and sound insulation.
  • In the journal reading room on the upper floor, you will find standing workstations with height-adjustable tables and standing aids, as well as a sofa and armchair for comfortable reading.
  • A relaxing area with sofas, beanbags and floor cushions has been created in the south-west corner of the upper floor.
