Help us preserve the work of Elie Wiesel,
 Auschwitz survivor and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

The Project

The Elie Wiesel Research Center is currently conducting scholarly research on approximately 20 volumes of Elie Wiesel’s writings in order to prepare them for publication as a collected works edition by Herder Verlag.

The aim of this project is to preserve Elie Wiesel’s life testimony and make it accessible for the future, especially for the younger generation.

The publication of all four parts of the work is planned:

Our mission

We are seeking companies, foundations, and social organizations that would like to support Elie Wiesel's message as sponsors and thereby demonstrate their social responsibility.

Each volume requires €10,000 for translation and printing costs. By contributing to these production costs, you can provide valuable assistance.

We appreciate any financial support—whether it’s a partial amount or the financing of an entire volume.

Of course, several companies or institutions can also jointly sponsor a volume.
We will coordinate the exact details of the sponsorship with you.

We offer

  • Your (company) logo will be placed in the volume you sponsor and your participation will be published on the Internet.
  • We offer readings from Elie Wiesel’s works and lectures for interested groups.
  • You will receive review copies of the sponsored volume as well as gift copies of Elie Wiesel’s books „Die Nacht. Erinnerung und Zeugnis“ and „Gedanken zwischen Leben und Tod“.
