Research Interests

The exploration of the behavioural ecology of invertebrate animals, namely insects and gastropods. I have always made a special effort to find the leads to my research in nature, at first performing autecological studies of an animal in its natural environment.

Current projects

  • Shell formation in pulmonates.
  • Functional morphology of the shell in land snails.
  • Comparative analysis of mating behaviour and functional morphology of the distal genital system in pest species of the genus Arion (Pulmonata: Arionidae).
