Subdivision on teaching methods of Greek and Latin

The subdivision on teaching methods of Greek and Latin at our university was instituted on September 1, 2016. It covers the entire range of subjects involved in teaching both classical languages on all levels as it was, is, and will be taught. Special research interests are:

• effectiveness of the new curricula in both Latin and Greek in tertiary education in the wake of the "Bologna process“,
• desiderata in current school curricula
• Renaissance and Baroque drama and the teaching of Latin
• The teaching of Greek and the Third Reich
