In dem Modul wird ein Überblick über die Internationale Wirtschaftsgeschichte gegeben. Kernaspekte sind dabei:
- die Betrachtung der sehr langfristigen Entwicklung im Feld der Wirtschaftsgeschichte
- Geographische Unterschiede zwischen den Kontinenten
- Methodische Ansätze der Entwicklungsmessungen

Objectives
Die Studierenden lernen u.a. die aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Forschungen im Fach Wirtschaftsgeschichte kennen. Die Absolvent/innen des Moduls können grundlegende und fortgeschrittene Methoden des Bereiches anwenden, können den Aufbau und die Struktur wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten nachvollziehen, aber auch methodisches Wissen für selbständige empirische Arbeiten anwenden.
