Nicole Ludwig, head of our Early Career Research Group "Machine Learning in Sustainable Energy Systems" has been nominated “AI Newcomer 2021”. She develops machine learning algorithms that help build a sustainable energy system of the future.
With the award the “Gesellschaft für Informatik” aims to make visible new talents in the field of AI, who can be expected to have a significant influence on AI research in the future. They also wish to demystify AI technologies and to open up the topic to a broad public.
