The discourse project will be evaluated in a companion study. The evaluation should
1. measure changes in the ethical perception.
For this purpose, the participants’ ethical perception before and after the seminar will be comparatively evaluated. The assumption is that teaching ethical theory can improve ethical perception. Using qualitative content analysis, the students’ texts, which are to be written before and after the seminar, will be analyzed. The point of the analysis is to determine whether the participants perceive and identify ethical issues differently at the beginning than at the end of the seminar.
2. determine whether the teaching and learning goals were achieved.
For this purpose, questionnaires will be used at the end of the seminar that focus on the basic concept of the module. The questionnaires seek to determine how the students assess their own learning success and how the teachers rate their teaching success relative to the course objectives.
