Borrowing regulations for students

Borrowing during the semester
On Fridays during the contact ours of the library supervision (at the desk in the corridor), up to three books can be borrowed over the weekend. The items must be returned by Monday at 3 p.m. at the latest.

General note on lending books
Books from the semester collection are excluded from lending. It is presumed that loaned items will be returned on time. If the loan period is exceeded, the library management reserves the right to take further steps (e.g. exclusion from the loan).

Copying and Scanning Services

Copies and Scans (Room 118)
In Room 118 there is a device available for copying and scanning. For both you need a chip card (student or staff ID card of the university, user ID of the university library or guest card) with a loaded money function. If you want so Scan you need a USB stick to save the scans.

ScanTent (Corridor)
The library also owns a ScanTent which is located at the end of the corridor. This device offers quick and easy scanning of books, journals and other items up to A3 format with your own smartphone. A use of the ScanTent is free of charge. Find an extensive guide on how to use the device on site. Power plugs can be borrowed at the library supervision or in the administrations office.
