ERC Starting Grant for Philipp Berens

The European Research Councal is funding Philipp Berens' development of a new retinal model!

The European Research Council (ERC) will fund Philipp Berens' NextMechMod project for the development of new models and algorithms for the study of amacrine cells, special nerve cells in the retina of the eye, with a Starting Grant of about 1.5 million euros over a period of five years.
