Tell el-Burak from the south

Location

Tell el-Burak rises 19 m high on the coast of south Lebanon, 9 km south of Sidon and 4 km north of Sarafand, ancient Sarepta. Two sources spring forth at the foot of the tell. In Antiquity, the location of Tell el-Burak dominated the coastal plain south of the near-by metropolis of Sidon.
