Our group does research in solid state physics with focus on electric transport properties of superconducting and magnetic layered structures.
Regarding teaching we cover a broad range, from courses for first year students (Physics I, II) up to courses for advanced students (solid state physics, superconductivity, quantum phenomena).
Our research team consists of approx. 30 people, including students who -- within their bachelor-/master-/diploma and PhD thesis -- do research on up-to-date hot topics of modern solid state physics.
Our group is member of the Center for Quantum Science (CQ) and of the Center of Light-Matter-Interaction, Sensors & Analytics (LISA+).
