MA in Tübingen

The Philosophy Department in Tübingen offers a research-based Master program, which affords you significant freedom to choose your areas of specialization. Research seminars and colloquia, as well as regularly occurring workshops and conferences with international guests, offer you the opportunity to actively contribute to current philosophical debates.

Starting Time and Standard Period of Study
You may start the program in the winter or summer semester. The standard period of study is 4 semesters.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Philosophy with a grade of at least 2,5 or an equivalent degree (which may be in another subject)
• Latinum or Graecum
• Knowledge of two other foreign languages
• Foreign language requirements need not be met at the start, but must be fulfilled before starting work on the MA thesis.
