In July 2015, Theresa Veer joint the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Tübingen as Assistant Professor for Strategy and Management and Associated Professor at the Tübingen AI Center. She studied Technology and Management at the Technical University of Munich and at Bordeaux École de Management in France. After completing her diploma studies in 2010, she did her PhD at the Technical University of Berlin at the chair of Economics of Innovation. After her doctoral thesis in 2013, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona. The focus of her research is on (corporate) venture capital, intellectual property rights, and strategic innovation management.

Together with Ilka Weichert, Theresa wins the CBS award for her outstanding research on Corporate Venture Capitalists' role in new venture internationalization.
September 2023
KSG Best Entrepreneurship Research Award
Theresa wins the KSG Best Entrepreneurship Research Award with her research on the differences in new venture legitimation strategies between men- and women-led startups.
