Deepfakes: Manipulation on Demand?

Discussion Paper von Maria Pawelec

Im Diskussionspaper "Deepfakes: Manipulation on Demand? Evolution of Deepfake Technology, Societal Impact, and the Path Forward" gibt Maria Pawelec eine aktuelle, umfassende Einführung in die technologische Entwicklung der Deepfake-Technologie seit ihrem Aufkommen 2017, in die Breite ihrer Anwendungen von Politik über sexualisierende Deepfakes und Deepfakes für kriminelle Zwecke bis hin zu Deepfakes für wirtschaftliche Anwendungen, Bildung und Satire, sowie über regulatorische Ansätze in der EU und darüber hinaus zum Umgang mit Deepfakes.

Das Paper wurde herausgegeben vom Israel Public Policy Institute (IPPI) und der Heinrich Böll Stiftung Tel Aviv.
