Dr. Lou Therese Brandner

Team Lead

Lou Brandner is a sociologist, team lead and postdoctoral researcher at the IZEW. Before joining the IZEW, she completed her PhD in sociology of communication at Sapienza University of Rome and was a research fellow at the University of Cagliari. Her research focuses on ethical and social aspects of data-based technologies, AI and robotics in different societal contexts such as education, human resources, sustainability or surveillance. 

Since August 2022, Lou is IZEW Staff Representative.
