Dr. Robert Ranisch was awarded the AeV Junior Research Price for his doctoral thesis

The AeV Junior Research Price „Medicine and Ethics“ is awarded to outstanding researches.

The doctoral thesis  ”Critique of Liberal Eugenics: The Ethics and History of Selective Reproduction” by Dr. Robert Ranisch (www.ranisch.com) was awarded the AeV Junior Research Prize „Medicine and Ethics“. This work was compiled under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dieter Birnbacher (Düsseldorf) and Prof. Dr. Thomas Potthast while taking part in the Research Training Group "Bioethics" at the International Center for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities (IZEW). The award ceremony will take place at the Evangelische Stadtakademie Munich in October. A revised edition of the dissertation will be published by J.B. Metzler in 2019.
