Report on "Digitization and the Common Good - Transformation Narratives between Planetary Boundaries and Artificial Intelligence" published.

How can different application fields of artificial intelligence change the relationships between humans, the environment and technology?

In the project "Orientation to the Common Good in the Age of Digitalization: Transformation Narratives between Planetary Boundaries and Artificial Intelligence", anthropological and ethical concepts with a focus on artificial intelligence were analyzed and developed, and based on this, new entrances into narratives that create meaning (narratives) for social change processes (transformations) were created. The basis was a critical stocktaking of the body of knowledge on the developments and effects of artificial intelligence. The focus was on selected fields of application of artificial intelligence that can fundamentally change current relationships between people, technology and the environment. The fields of affective computing and autonomous systems for the development of previously unavailable spaces were examined in depth.
