Presentation skills as a future skill – interdisciplinary impulses
March 25–27, 2026, University of Tübingen
The ability to prepare knowledge in a way that is appropriate for the audience and to present it effectively is considered a key skill for the 21st century. The conference organized by the Presentation Competence Research Unit and the educational initiative Youth Presents is dedicated to the theoretical and empirical connections between presentation skills and future skills.
The aim is to promote interdisciplinary exchange and develop a theoretical framework that understands presentation skills as a catalyst for future skills. Researchers from the fields of rhetoric, education, psychology, communication studies, media education, subject didactics, and related disciplines are cordially invited to participate.
