Sunyoung An earned a bachelor’s degree in Educational Science with a focus on Social Pedagogy and Social Work, and a master’s degree in Empirical Educational Research and Educational Psychology from the University of Tübingen. She has been a research assistant on the “Jugend präsentiert” project since December 2025.

In her practical work, she designs, tests, and evaluates training programs for elementary school students aimed at developing presentation skills. She also evaluates the training programs and the competition format of “Jugend präsentiert.” In her doctoral research, she is investigating the development of presentation skills among elementary school children.
