Conference "Teaching Quality"

International scientists discuss current issues and future directions

In March, the Hector Research Institute of Educations Sciences and Psychology and the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network, organized a conference on “Teaching Quality". The participants discussed current research on the assessment of teaching quality with a focus on classroom observations and student assessments. Key notes and contributions by international speakers Drew Gitomer (Rutgers University, USA), Courtney Bell (ETS, USA), Tim Mainhard (Utrecht, NL), Anna Praetorius (Zurich), Oliver Lüdtke and Uta Klusmann (both from Kiel) enriched the conference. Another topic was on which topics research on teaching quality will focus in the future.
