Roman Krtsch, Ph.D.
Roman Krtsch is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of International Relations / Peace and Conflict Studies since September 2023. After his studies in Trier (BA) and Warwick / Konstanz (MA), he received his PhD in Political Science from the University of Osnabrück. Prior to working in Tübingen, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz.
Roman Krtsch's research focuses on the causes and consequences of protests and civil resistance. He is particularly interested in the actors involved and focuses on protests in times of insecurity and upheaval, e.g. in the context of armed violent conflicts or democratic transition processes.
